Our Commitment To Safe Care

Vaccines are extremely important for your pet. It is one of the easiest ways to help him live a long, healthy life. Not only are there different vaccines for different diseases, there are different types and combinations of vaccines. But it’s risks and benefits must be weighed carefully before deciding to do it. When the vaccine is introduced to the body, the immune system is mildly stimulated. If a pet is ever exposed to the real disease, his immune system is now prepared to recognize and fight it off entirely or reduce the severity of the illness.

These are of two types: core and non-core vaccines. Core vaccines are vital for the pet’s healthy life.

For Dogs: Vaccines for canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis and rabies are considered core vaccines.

For Cats: Vaccines for panleukopenia (feline distemper), feline calicivirus, felineherpesvirus type I (rhinotracheitis) and rabies are considered core vaccines

Surgeries– Wounds, cuts and other such common openings due to injuries are treated.

Pet medical emergencies are a terrifying thought, specially late at night when no clinics are open. Microchipping in pets is a safe and effective way to identify your pet in case he or she gets lost. A microchipping in pets has a small processor chip, an electronic chip that is inserted under your pet’s skin. If your pet is lost, a scanner can be used to read the chip and get your pet’s information. The chip is about the size of a grain of rice and is implanted under your pet’s skin. If your pet is ever lost, a veterinarian or animal shelter can scan the chip and get your contact information.

Dental illness is a grievous ailment caused by bacteria, plaque, and tartar that accumulate on the teeth and become trapped beneath the gum line.

The bacteria can enter the bloodstream and cause havoc on the body’s other major organs.

It is critical to detect dental disease in your pet as soon as possible. If left untreated, it can lead to chronic pain and inflammation.

The Maxvet recommends dental evaluations as part of your pet’s regular preventive care exam, which should take place at least once a year, to detect dental disease before it negatively affects your pet’s quality of life.

Dental scaling is careful removal of plaque bacteria from the tooth’s surface just below the gumline. We have a pet dental scaling clinic in East of Kailash, Greater Kailash, Rohini, Rajori Garden, Gold Course Road, Palam Vihar, Shanti Niketan.

Hydrotherapy involves therapeutic exercise in the form of swimming or walking in water. At Maxvets we have an underwater treadmill that allows dogs and cats to walk in water, as well as a swimming pool for swimming exercises. It is increasingly used in dogs since it is a very effective supplement to many surgical and medical treatments, especially postoperative rehabilitation after orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as for arthritic patients. It is generally carried out by a team of several vets or trained therapists who help to monitor and facilitate the patient’s improvement.

Dogs are natural swimmers unlike cats and, hence, are more likely to enjoy and benefit from hydrotherapy.

Electrotherapy is one of the most commonly used techniques in human physiotherapy, however in the last 20 years it has also become extremely prominent in the veterinary world.

Electrotherapy began to be used on pets due to its success treating people and horses. It was initially used on racehorses, where care for the animals is determined by the amount of money generated by the races and the breeding.
