Dr Faiza Farooq completed her BVSc and AH from Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, SKUAST-K, Kashmir in the year 2016 followed by Masters in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from SKUAST-J, Jammu, with the area of specialization being orthopedic surgeries in canines. 

She holds the position of first author of a research paper in Journal of Animal Research Soon after MVSc, she got appointed as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and radiology in SDS College affiliated with Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences HISAR , where she worked for 6 months. Wanting to refine her clinical skills and practice as a full time clinician she joined Petzone Mumbai, as a surgeon under the mentorship of Dr Leena Dalal. After working in mumbai for 2 years she joined Maxvets. 

Currently working in the Department of emergency and critical care, Dr Faiza aims to hone her surgical and diagnostic skills. Her areas of interest being internal medicine, diagnostics and orthopedic and laproscopic surgeries. Apart from this, she has also attended hands on workshop on Small Animal soft tissue surgery. And various Seminars. Besides academics, she has been awarded as winner in various debates and essay writing compititions at college level. Dr Faiza is a strong believer of Teamwork and Compassion. Her daily focus is on to grow at an individual level as well as a team.
